TELEMED Company, Ltd., Belgrade is a company in private ownership, founded in 2005, with its main activity being trade in computer equipment and consumable materials.

In June 2008, recapitalization of the company was undertaken and it became a multi-member company with the activity in the area of the wholesale trade in pharmaceutical products. As of July 2008, TELEMED, Company, Ltd., Belgrade, in the capacity of the exclusive importer and distributor for the territories of Serbia and Montenegro, has been distributing products from the product ranges of the renowned international manufacturers:

• The Company COOK Medical, the USA, for its Strategic Business Units – Gynecology/ART, Urology, Intensive Care, and Surgery.
• The Company ASPECT Medical Systems, the USA, which is the global manufacturer (recognized and approved by FDA and the professional audience – over 1,100 studies – references) of the monitoring system measuring the deepness of anesthesia - BIS technology
• The Company MastBioSurgery, the USA, the manufacturer of surgical materials to be built-in – anti-adhesion barriers
• The Company DIBIMED Biomedical Supply, S.L., Spain – the European representative of the Company KITAZATO, Japan, the manufacturer of vitrification sets for oocytes and embryos.

TELEMED Company, Ltd. has based its business philosophy on the idea of social accountability, as a member within the system of health care of the population. Each individual engaged in that system must be aware of the incontrovertible fact that, at any moment, some time or later, he/she may become the beneficiary of the services of that same system and, therefore, it is his/her obligation to make his/her own inputs into the system optimal. Only in such a way it is possible to provide the level of health care, which makes us all safe and healthy at the same time.

Contemporary medicine is marking an accelerated development, its technological base is being invigorated by capital while research and development are the main levers of its progress. It is our obligation to make contemporary achievements of the medical science and practice available to our beneficiaries, i.e. to ourselves, taking care of the capabilities and capacities of our health care system, which is not only the source of profit, but first of all the venue of protection of people’s lives.
